Helldivers 2 developers improved optimization and left a mysterious teaser message
It appears players can expect a surprise in the weeks ahead.
The creators of Helldivers 2 have released patch 4.1.2, designed to address several bugs and enhance optimization for the cooperative shooter.
Notable changes include:
- Improved handling of environmental effects—such as sandstorms, blizzards, and acid storms—to reduce their impact on performance.
- Optimized tree-destruction systems to maintain performance when large numbers of trees are destroyed.
- Fixed an issue where audio could cut out after an extended pause.
- Resolved various crashes, including those triggered when launching urban missions and during “Pelican” landings.
In the patch notes, the developers left a message for players:
Please circle December 2 on your calendar in a fiery red — we have some buzzing news for you!
