Jason Isaacs, renowned for his work in the Harry Potter franchise and the third season of The White Lotus, has been cast in a pivotal role for the highly anticipated Lara Croft series. While his specific character remains under wraps, he joins a star-studded ensemble led by Sophie Turner in the title role. Screen legend Sigourney Weaver is also set to appear in the production.
Principal photography for this latest live-action adaptation of the iconic video game franchise is scheduled to commence in January 2026. The series will be released globally on Amazon Prime Video.
The project is being spearheaded by showrunner Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the acclaimed creator behind Fleabag and Killing Eve.
