Gearbox says fixing Borderlands 4 PC performance is its top priority after ongoing issues — patch arrives today

The post also notes an FOV slider for consoles is currently in testing, with more details due soon — welcome news for players who’ve requested it. The team said some console users have reported performance issues as well and that those reports are under investigation with updates planned.

It’s unclear whether this references the rumored memory leak on consoles, but Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford previously suggested quitting and restarting the game as a temporary workaround until a patch is released. Whatever the cause, the developers say a fix is in progress.

“We value your feedback and are committed to delivering an incredible Borderlands 4 experience for all players,” the statement concluded. “Thank you.”
