Coven of the Chicken Foot is the debut release from Wildflower Interactive, Straley’s independent studio. Described as a “stylized, single-player odyssey,” the game follows an elderly witch through a semi-open world where players must navigate environmental puzzles to fulfill a sacred oath to her ancient coven.
“We are subverting the classic adventure tropes and the standard ‘hero’s journey’ by offering a fresh perspective,” Straley said. The game places players in the aftermath of legendary battles, exploring a world that heroes and monsters have already moved on from. While a release date has yet to be finalized, it remains one of the most anticipated titles on our radar for 2026.
Wildflower Interactive’s debut aims to offer a “unique type of storytelling,” serving as a lush, atmospheric tribute to classics like ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.
