Distribution company Global Film has unveiled an exclusive clip from the upcoming survival thriller Greenland: Migration. The sequel is slated for a theatrical release on January 29.
Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin reprise their roles as the Garrity family, who managed to survive the initial cataclysmic comet strike. The narrative follows the survivors as they finally emerge from their Greenland bunker, forced to embark on a treacherous journey across the decimated ruins of Europe in search of a new sanctuary.
Ric Roman Waugh returns to the director’s chair for this second installment. The original Greenland, released in 2020, was a commercial success, grossing $52 million worldwide against a $35 million production budget.
