ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN – VERSION 1.03.2 PATCH NOTES

Elden Ring Nightreign Update

Gameplay Balance and Feature Enhancements

Character Archetype Adjustments

Duchess

  • Refined the visual clarity of the phantom echo produced when the “Restage” skill is triggered.

Guardian

  • Augmented damage mitigation for physical strikes and all elemental affinities.
  • Improved the Guard Boost statistic when actively blocking.

Raider

  • Enhanced the animation speed for most standard attacks (excluding dual-wielding and aerial strikes) when wielding Greataxes, Great Hammers, or Colossal Weapons.
  • Calibrated the forward momentum and movement distance for specific heavy weapon attacks.
  • The “Fighter’s Resolve” passive now grants a temporary attack power surge when the player’s health drops to critical levels.
  • Expanded the effective area of effect for the “Totem Stela” Ultimate Art.

Revenant

  • Boosted the offensive power of spirit summons during the “Immortal March” Ultimate Art.
  • In “Deep of Night” mode, spirits summoned via the “Summon Spirit” skill now receive attack and defense scaling based on the current Expedition depth.

Executor

  • Increased critical hit damage while the “Cursed Sword” skill is active.
  • Enhanced Guard Boost and stagger potential upon successful deflections during the “Cursed Sword” state.
  • Lowered stamina consumption for deflections and removed the guard break penalty if stamina is depleted following a successful deflect while “Cursed Sword” is active.
  • Weapon arts now correctly benefit from “Improved Skill Attack Power” and “Improved Melee Attack Power” bonuses during the “Cursed Sword” duration.
  • Boosted the potency of all “Aspects of the Crucible: Beast” attacks, with the exception of the “Roar.”
  • Improved damage negation for the L2 skill during the “Aspects of the Crucible” transformation. Added a temporary protection window that prevents death; if health reaches zero during the skill, the transformation ends leaving the player with 1 HP.
  • Attacks during the “Aspects of the Crucible: Beast” transformation now scale more effectively with depth in “Deep of Night” mode.

Scholar

  • Refined the proximity requirements for the “Analyse” skill when tracking large-scale adversaries.

Undertaker

  • Modified the lunge distance of Hammer-class weapon attacks when targeting stationary foes.

Relic Revisions

  • The burn damage from the “[Wylder] Art activation spreads fire” effect now contributes to the Art Gauge.
  • Increased the potency of HP recovery and enemy provocation (aggro) while guarding.
  • Augmented the shockwave damage generated by successful Guardian blocks.
  • Enhanced the HP restoration and Poise bonuses provided by the “Totem Stela.”
  • Revised the Executor relic: “[Executor] Character Skill Boosts Attack but Attacking Drains HP” has been renamed to “[Executor] Character Skill Boosts Attack but Lowers Damage Negation While Attacking,” featuring an increased attack bonus.
  • Extended the duration of HP regeneration for the Executor’s ability activation relic.
  • Boosted attack bonuses for the Undertaker’s combo finishers and self-buffing incantations.
  • Reduced the effectiveness of the “Successive Attacks Boost Attack Power” relic.
  • Attenuated the damage bonuses for Bow-specific relics (fixing a previous error where Patch 1.03 values were unintentionally high for the bow category).

Equipment, Sorceries, and Incantations

  • Ranged attacks now experience distance-based fall-off for status effect buildup, Art Gauge charging, and near-death gauge depletion.
  • The “Rotten Crystal Staff” now features “Crystal Release” as its primary sorcery, replacing “Shattering Crystal.”
  • Raised the FP cost for “Shattering Crystal” and “Beast Claw.”
  • Improved the visual effects of various spells for better combat visibility.
  • Reduced the negative health penalty on the “Primal Glintstone Blade” and the defense penalty on the “Crucible Feather Talisman.”

Environmental and World Adjustments

  • Vendors now have a limited stock of Fire Pots and Throwing Knives.
  • Increased the frequency of Night Invader encounters during cataclysms in the “Marsh.”
  • Rebalanced enemy density and lowered enemy attack power in the “Blacksmith Village” within “The Deep of Night.”
  • Increased Rune rewards and rare loot drop rates in the “Marsh” and “Blacksmith Village.”
  • Increased the spawn frequency of specialized vendors in “The Great Hollow.”
  • The “Beast’s Hunt” ability from the “Tricephalos” raid now fully restores stamina for nearby allies during offensive chains.
  • Reduced environmental hazard damage and improved visibility during the “Tricephalos,” “Fissure in the Fog,” and “Balancers” raid events.
  • Lowered the attack bonus granted to “Charmed” enemies during the “Balancers” event.

General Fixes and Optimization

  • Added status icons and descriptions for “Full HP” buffs and weapon-swapping relics.
  • Resolved an issue where DLC-exclusive costumes and relics could disappear; these can now be reclaimed at the Roundtable Hold.
  • Fixed a duplication bug involving “The Will of the Balancers” relic and prevented multiple instances from stacking.
  • Corrected various hitbox issues where melee or skill power bonuses were not being applied to specific Weapon Arts (e.g., Waves of Darkness, Lightning Slash, Eruption).
  • Fixed an exploit where the Executor’s Ultimate Art caused unintended status damage or excessive damage when paired with the Scholar’s “Communion.”
  • Resolved various boss behavior bugs, including mounted flinching for Night’s Cavalry and HP gauge display issues for Tree Sentinels.
  • Addressed performance stutters and rendering loads during the “Balancers” boss encounter.
  • Improved Steam version stability to prevent disconnects immediately after matchmaking.
