EA went beyond simply fixing the issue. In an in-game message — which was reposted to Reddit — the studios said they experienced an outage on the EA app that prevented some pre-order customers from accessing Battlefield 6 and offered an apology “…with perks.” Read the message on Reddit.
According to the announcement, the patch has been deployed but the studio isn’t finished. Affected EA app users will receive 12 Hardware Boosters and 12 Career 60-Minute Boosters, which should appear in impacted players’ in-game inboxes over the coming weekend. Those players will also be granted access to a seasonal Battle Pass, and Phantom Edition owners who were impacted will receive the full Season 2 Battle Pass.
