Timothée Chalamet Scales the Las Vegas Sphere to Kick Off ‘Marty Supreme’ Promotion

Timothée Chalamet is taking his promotional efforts to unprecedented heights—literally. The acclaimed actor, who leads the cast of the upcoming sports-centered drama Marty Supreme, recently made history by becoming the first person ever to appear atop the iconic Las Vegas Sphere to promote a theatrical release.

In a high-profile collaboration with CashApp, the two-time Oscar nominee was filmed standing on the roof of the massive architectural marvel. Addressing the camera, he announced, “Marty Supreme is an American film that comes out on Christmas Day 2025.” As the Sphere’s exterior transformed into a glowing orange orb, Chalamet delivered the film’s core message: “Dream big!”

The sky-high stunt is part of a uniquely creative marketing blitz for the film, which is loosely inspired by the life of legendary table tennis champion Martin Reisman. The campaign has already featured competitive ping-pong tournaments, exclusive Supreme collaborations, and surreal street appearances by individuals wearing oversized ping-pong ball masks.

Reflecting on his dedication to marketing his projects, the 29-year-old actor told Vogue that he values an active approach to reaching audiences. Chalamet expressed that he would rather risk being overly vocal than look back on his career with regret for being too passive. “I don’t want to look back on life and things I’ve put out and go, ‘Hey, see the movie if you want,’” he explained. “At best, someone will get pulled in and go, ‘Hey, this guy really thinks this thing’s worthy.’”

His commitment to the “dream big” ethos even includes a nod to unlikely inspirations. In a recent conversation with the BBC, Chalamet praised singer Susan Boyle, noting that her legendary rise to fame perfectly mirrors the spirit of Marty Supreme. “She dreamt bigger than all of us,” Chalamet remarked. “I remember it like it was yesterday.”
