Soon, everyone will have the opportunity to test their mettle with new competitive features.
The Diablo IV development team has shared details regarding the upcoming 2.5.2 update. Alongside various technical refinements, the patch introduces several highly anticipated gameplay systems.
During the “Season of Divine Intervention,” Blizzard will initiate an open beta for The Gauntlet and its integrated Leaderboards. Progression within The Gauntlet has been redesigned to scale in a manner similar to The Pit.
Since The Gauntlet first entered testing during the Season 11 PTR and transitioned into this update, we have implemented extensive refinements. These include numerous quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. As The Gauntlet enters open beta, we eagerly await your community feedback.
Adventurers must fight their way through the perilous chambers of each Gauntlet floor:
Activate Pillars to secure vital advantages, eliminate elite foes, and rack up your score with maximum speed. Cleave through enemies until the final boss appears, then slay them to complete your run. In this race against time, every tactical decision counts.
Seasonal Leaderboards will be refreshed across multiple two-week rounds before concluding just one day prior to the end of the Season of Divine Intervention.
Update 2.5.2 for Diablo IV is scheduled for release on January 12th, signaling the start of the competitive testing phase.
