It sounds impossible, but a Borderlands 4 player has uncovered an outrageously powerful combo that vaporizes foes almost instantly — and it looks like something that should be patched.
YouTuber NickTew says the discovery was accidental. While experimenting with his Vex (the Siren) to squeeze out more damage, he “stumbled across an interaction that allows you to effectively just one-shot any boss” by exploiting a Torgue weapon in sticky-round mode.
“My damage was so high,” NickTew explains in his guide for a “BROKEN Infinite Damage Build” (video embedded below), “that, for the first time ever, I saw the damage proc ‘TOTAL EXISTENCE FAILURE!'”

NickTew says you don’t need a single specific gun to trigger the effect. The weapon you use must support Torgue’s sticky-round functionality and have a Taser-style alternate fire.
Torgue weapons can fire sticky rounds that latch onto targets; when those charges detonate (either on reload or after a timer), the damage spikes. According to NickTew, pairing that sticky mechanic with a Taser alt-fire on a fast-firing weapon — for example, an SMG — dramatically amplifies the damage.
In his demonstration he pours a magazine of sticky shots onto enemies, switches to the Taser, reloads, and then the numbers explode: “every instance of damage goes up to 300,000. We even got one that went up to the 600,000 mark there.”
So — bug or feature?
“I don’t see a world where this isn’t a bug,” reads one comment on NickTew’s video that has more than 200 likes — and many viewers seem to agree.
