Battlefield 6 Shows How Optimization Should Work — Even an RTX 3050 Can Run It: PS5, PS5 Pro and PC Comparison

A detailed comparison of Battlefield 6 on PS5, PS5 Pro, and PC has surfaced — and the findings are striking. EA’s new shooter demonstrates excellent optimization and steady performance across all platforms.

Analysts concentrated primarily on the single-player campaign, whose metrics almost mirror the results seen in the beta. On the PS5 Pro you can spot enhanced shadows, richer volumetric lighting, and finer environmental detail, though the gap with the base PS5 is modest — both consoles deliver comparable visual quality.

In performance mode both PlayStation versions sacrifice shadow, terrain, and post-processing fidelity to preserve smooth frame rates. The PS5 Pro retains an edge — up to around 20 fps higher in select scenes — although both consoles maintain a steady 60 fps in cutscenes.

Comparison with the PC build revealed the same high level of optimization. Even on an RTX 3050 the game runs stably at 1080p with high settings. The difference between low and high presets is not dramatic, underscoring the engine’s efficiency.

PS5 Pro settings roughly align with a mid-to-high PC configuration, but PC features like DLSS and FSR deliver crisper image clarity. Overall, Battlefield 6 preserves a strong visual standard with only minimal differences between platforms.

Earlier tests of the final release also confirmed near parity between PS5 and Xbox Series X, with a slight advantage for Sony’s console. The PS5 Pro, however, posts the best results of the lot.
