Arcade Racer Hill Climb Racing 3 With PvP Launches in Early Access on Android
The beloved mobile arcade returns after nine years, now with a full-fledged multiplayer mode.
Finnish developer Fingersoft has launched Hill Climb Racing 3 — the newest installment in the long-running arcade franchise that’s been around for more than 13 years.
For now the game is available in soft launch on Android in Finland, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The title will later expand to additional regions and platforms, including iOS.
The core mechanics remain familiar, but the third installment’s main innovation is real-time races against other players instead of only competing with “ghost” replays.
Players can equip new gadgets and power-ups that serve both offensive and defensive strategies. Fingersoft preserves the series’ distinctive visuals and physics while introducing broader vehicle customization — you can change looks, upgrade performance, and build tailored setups for different race types.
Returning characters include Bill Newton, Nikita, Rick Ace and other denizens of Climb Canyon. Each character brings unique traits and bonuses that influence driving style. The developers promise frequent updates with new tracks, events and cosmetic items.
No firm date has been announced yet for the full release or the game’s arrival on iOS.
