Arc Raiders Infinite Ammo Exploit Follows Dupe Fix, Fueling Backlash Over Anti-Cheat Response

  • The impact on ammunition is even more severe. Beyond simply increasing reserves, the glitch expands magazine capacities far beyond intended limits. High-impact weapons like the Ferro and Hullcracker, which are designed around small capacities of one and five shots respectively, can now be fired continuously without reloading.

These limitations are the cornerstone of the game’s tactical balance. Without them, the gameplay loop is fundamentally broken. Competitive play is currently in a state of flux as exploiters bypass resource management entirely, clearing content and trials with zero risk or cost compared to legitimate players.

Frustrated players on Reddit have been vocal about the unfair advantage. “Seeing a Ferro or Anvil fire over 100 rounds without a pause is absolute madness,” one user noted. “It makes the entire economy of crafting expensive launcher ammo feel pointless when others are spamming it for free.”

Another player echoed the sentiment: “The duplication glitch was a headache, but this infinite ammo bug is a game-breaker. It completely removes the risk-reward factor of the highest-tier gear.”

As the community floods Discord with reports, Embark Studios has confirmed they are already investigating. When asked about the “31-round Ferro” bug, community lead Ossen replied, “The team is aware of this one.”

While a fix is likely imminent, players should proceed with caution. Embark has already warned that those who excessively exploited the previous duplication glitch will face “further review and possible penalties.” It stands to reason that the same scrutiny will be applied to those abusing the ammo and durability flaws.

In other news, Arc Raiders’ developers are reportedly looking into expanding the game’s social features, suggesting the central hub of Speranza could see new interactive elements in the future.
