Arc Raiders Developers Respond to Overpowered Grenade Complaints
Some players are already starting their victory laps in anticipation.
In Arc Raiders, the developers have provided players with more than just standard firearms. The tactical sandbox also includes a wide variety of grenades and gadgets.
However, one particular item—the Trigger Nade—has become a major point of contention. Capable of sticking to surfaces and being detonated remotely, it allows players to set up lethal traps with ease.
Its utility isn’t limited to ambushes; due to its overwhelming explosive power, it has become a dominant force in open firefights. Some users have even described it as a “pocket-sized nuclear warhead.”
A representative for the Arc Raiders development team confirmed that Embark Studios has heard the community feedback regarding these explosives, though specific details on the upcoming changes remain undisclosed:
“The team is currently exploring various ideas for gear balancing, including a nerf for the Trigger Nade. Stay tuned for further updates.”
