Arc Raiders Boss to Apologize to Italy’s Stella Montis Hotel After Influx of Player Reviews

Another player shared a suspiciously peaceful encounter that stood in stark contrast to the usual chaos: “The atmosphere is lovely; nobody is shooting at me, and I even saw someone wandering around playing a flute.”

Söderlund credited CCO Stefan Strandberg for the game’s heavy Italian influence, explaining that the country provided the perfect aesthetic and thematic backdrop for the title’s world-building.

The overlap with the real Stella Montis hotel appears to be a happy accident. Interestingly, the “review bomb” has been largely positive; most fans are leaving four and five-star ratings filled with inside jokes, effectively turning the hotel’s online presence into a playful extension of the Arc Raiders community.

“I’m genuinely curious now, so I’ll definitely be reaching out to the hotel to apologize for any confusion we’ve caused,” Söderlund concluded. “It certainly wasn’t intentional, but I promise to follow up once I’ve spoken with them!”

Arc Raiders boss also clarified that they aren’t interested in “Fortnite-style” cosmetics, preferring a “Battlefield” approach where every item fits the game’s established lore.
