As they approach their highly anticipated wedding, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are marking the occasion with an extraordinary act of philanthropy. The couple has pledged $26 million to a diverse array of charitable organizations across the cities that have shaped their lives and careers, including New York, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Cleveland, and Reading, Pennsylvania.
In a statement provided to Billboard on Thursday (July 2), a representative for the global superstar confirmed that the funds will support 20 different organizations. While the list includes national pillars like Feeding America, the ASPCA, the Grammy In The Schools initiative, and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the majority of the contributions are anchored in communities deeply personal to both Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs star.
These local investments include Helping Harvest in the Reading area—where Swift spent her formative years—and the After-School All-Stars in Cleveland, Kelce’s hometown. The couple also directed support toward Nashville, the cradle of Swift’s legendary music career, specifically benefiting The Store. Meanwhile, Kansas City, where Kelce has anchored the Chiefs’ defense since 2013, will see support for Harvesters – The Community Food Network and Children’s Mercy Hospital.
The couple’s generosity also extends to the cities they currently call home. They have contributed to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, as well as several New York City-based institutions. As Swift prepares to wed in the city she has resided in for over a decade, the couple has extended their support to various Big Apple organizations, including City Harvest, Food Bank For NYC, New York Cares, Education Through Music, Musical Mentors, and the Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone.
Though the official announcement did not explicitly link the donation to their wedding festivities, the scale of this gift and the deliberate selection of locations reflecting their shared history suggests a meaningful tribute to their life together. Reports indicate the pair is scheduled to celebrate their nuptials at Madison Square Garden on July 3.
