The Montreux Jazz Festival has pulled back the curtain on a stellar lineup for its landmark 60th anniversary, featuring headlining turns from RAYE, PinkPantheress, and Lewis Capaldi. Celebrating six decades of musical excellence, the prestigious Swiss event is scheduled to return to the scenic Lake Geneva shoreline from July 3 to July 18, 2026.

A Fusion of Heritage and Modernity

The 2026 roster masterfully bridges the gap between legendary icons and the vanguard of modern pop. Attendees can anticipate high-caliber performances from rock titans Deep Purple and soul virtuoso John Legend, alongside contemporary heavyweights like Tyla, Conan Gray, and Zara Larsson. The festival also continues its tradition of spotlighting rising British stars, with appearances booked for Nectar Woode, Sasha Keable, and Sienna Spiro.

Returning for her third consecutive year, RAYE is set to launch the festivities at the Auditorium Stravinski. Her opening night performance is a bespoke collaboration co-created with Audemars Piguet, following the success of her 2024 Live at Montreux release and her latest critically acclaimed album, This Music May Contain Hope.

Genre-Defying Collaborations

The schedule is packed with intriguing double bills. On July 5, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will take the stage alongside Aldous Harding, while the soulful sounds of The Isley Brothers will be paired with the rhythmic mastery of The Roots on July 11. Additionally, UK hip-hop standout Loyle Carner is slated to perform with the funk collective Vulfpeck on July 17.

The Montreux Jazz Lab will serve as a hub for eclectic experimentation, ranging from an electronic rave hosted by Danny L Harle to an immersive tribute to Miles Davis, featuring the We Want Miles! ensemble led by Billy Cobham and Marcus Miller.

A Storied Legacy on the Lake

Founded in 1967 by the late Claude Nobs, the Montreux Jazz Festival has grown from a niche jazz gathering into a global cultural phenomenon, attracting over 250,000 visitors annually. Its hallowed stages have hosted some of the greatest names in music history, including Etta James, David Bowie, Aretha Franklin, Lauryn Hill, and Kendrick Lamar.

Tickets for the diamond jubilee edition are available now via the official Montreux Jazz Festival website, where fans can find comprehensive scheduling details.
