Styx: Blades of Greed has resurfaced with an extensive nine-minute gameplay reveal. The footage showcases the creative direction of this third installment, promising stealth enthusiasts a wealth of mechanical innovations.

Cyanide Studio has adjusted the game’s release schedule; the title is now slated to launch on February 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The featured segments prioritize silent infiltration, tactical takedowns, and the protagonist’s versatile skill set, highlighting a significant leap in player agency compared to previous entries in the series.

Players will explore the Iserian Continent—a vertically-driven environment where every objective can be approached through multiple creative paths. Success involves leveraging environmental hazards, setting ingenious traps, and utilizing supernatural abilities to bypass direct conflict entirely.

The titular goblin protagonist gains access to advanced tools and powers fueled by mystical Quartz, allowing him to manipulate his adversaries and even time itself. New traversal options—including a glider, a grappling hook, and metallic climbing claws—further enhance mobility. These capabilities can be customized via a robust skill tree and game-altering runes.

Developed on Unreal Engine 5, the project marks a franchise first by adopting a structure inspired by the Metroidvania genre.
