Grubb added that it “seems like they don’t want to do it with Sony,” meaning FromSoftware, and clarified his understanding:
“Anything beyond FromSoftware would have to be involved and they’re not going to do it right now. That’s my understanding of the situation. I checked in on it relatively recently and continue to hear, ‘Nothing is happening with Bloodborne, so don’t expect that.'”
While Grubb has been incorrect on occasion, his reporting is generally reliable. If his assessment holds, Bloodborne fans should brace for a long wait before seeing an official PC port, a remake, or — dare I say it — a sequel.
Hopefully the next update on Bloodborne will bring better news.
