Anbernic may soon unveil the RG 477V handheld, featuring a glass front panel and a larger display — a design likely to appeal to fans of vertical-form devices.
A fresh wave of rumors has appeared online about Anbernic’s forthcoming device. If the reports are accurate, a vertical handheld called the RG 477V is expected to be announced in the near future.
The newcomer is reported to have a 4.7-inch display and a glass front, making it a direct contender to the Ayaneo Pocket Vert. From the images, the console appears to include two joysticks, a D-pad, R1/R2 and L1/L2 triggers, plus the usual array of buttons.
The user who provided the images also claims that Anbernic will no longer be using the Allwinner H700 processor in its new models.
Unfortunately, exact specifications for the RG 477V — including price, dimensions, release date, and full color options — are still unknown, aside from mentions of black and white-gray finishes.
