Frontier Developments is suing Atari over unpaid royalties it’s due for CurlerCoaster Tycoon three.

According to the declare, after Atari filed bankruptcy in 2013 Frontier amended its contract for the sport.

Frontier states CurlerCoaster Tycoon three had increased gross sales figures than beforehand estimated, and Atari owed $three.37 million to the agency in royalties. Atari solely paid $1.17 million, and the corporate is now suing its former writer for the remaining $2.2 million owed.

CurlerCoaster Tycoon three is the third installment within the sequence and was developed by Frontier for PC and printed by Atari in 2004. Planet Coaster, which is a religious successor to the sequence, was announced at E3 2015 by Frontier boss David Braben.

Planet Coaster was launched for PC on November 17, 2016 and the primary main replace for the title was launched on December 15.
