Last Tuesday, developers GTA Online released a new update “Tuners in Los Santos”, dedicated to the automotive culture. A lot of new racing cars have been added to the game, copied from the movie “Fast and Furious”, the series of games “Need For Speed”, Auto Business 2.0 and a furious reputation system for the new Auto Club LS. In this review, take a closer look at the new products and learn about the changes in the “quality of life” from Rockstar Games.
Logging into GTA Online this week, you will receive several bonusesand also visit the underground Auto Club LS, where you will be greeted by the owner of the club Mimi and the most annoying couple of characters DJ Kenny (KDJ) aka Moodymann and his girlfriend Sessanta.
As soon as the scene of the meeting in the LS Autoclub ends, do not rush to leave it. First of all, go to Mimi and buy a club membership for $ 50,000. It will open up access to various auto club opportunities. Wander around the club, getting to know its residents and functionality. Carefully read the tips that pop up in the upper left corner – they give more information about new items in the club. Go to the test track immediately after that. Participating in different types of races on the test track is the way to earn reputation points.
HP Auto Club reputation points
The reputation system of the Autoclub LS was directly transferred from the update Arena battlesbut with some tweaks to throw rocks at Rockstar Games. First, to reach the maximum 1,000 reputation level of the Autoclub, you will need to earn 997,430 points. Considering that on average you get a little over 1000 points per day, you can imagine how many months it will take to reach the maximum level.
At the same time, the content being opened (tuning, clothing, wholesale prices for cars) is blocked. In “Arena battles” you could buy a thing more expensive, now this is not – go on the track to open new wheels or ride on old rollers. Fortunately, all content opens at level 250 or 172,430 reputation points.
How to build reputation:
- visit the Auto Club PM daily (7 days in a row – 100 points, 14 days – 250 points, 30 days – 500 points);
- visit the test track and start new competitions from there;
- drive in Street Races and Chases (launched by the Race Manager LS Autoclub);
- buy openable clothes;
- modify any vehicle in the LS Autoclub tuning studio;
- stay inside the LS Autoclub longer.

By the way, wholesale prices for cars are not that important. A couple of raids on the island of Cayo Perico will offset the cost of new cars.
Street racing and chases
Meet two new types of races that allow you to earn Reputation Points for the LC Auto Club.
Street racing – are a regular competition for eight people. The peculiarity of such races is the night, forced Moodymann tracks and cuts. Keeping Kenny’s tracks miserable by blocking radio station changes in a race is so rockstar. The races themselves are decorated in a street style: carelessly drawn starting positions, a girl (who is constantly being killed) giving a start and track boundaries marked by cars and people. Many trails have shortcuts, so use them as soon as you learn the trail configuration.
Chase – a new type of race, where, in addition to traffic, police officers will hunt you. Depending on the settings of the wanted stars, you will not only have to dodge their cars or break through blocked roads, but also look for a shortcut to control points. Before starting, carefully study the map and try to find the road that will lead you to victory.
Auto business 2.0
With the Tuners in Los Santos Update, Rockstar Games is expanding your automotive business. Here you will find a search for very rare export cars, pre-sale preparation of cars and delivery of them to customers, as well as new tasks from Kenny and Sessanta.
Mazafaka, when will you shut up ?!
Buy one of the five available garages and get Kenny and Sessanta at employers. It’s been only three days since release, and the GTA community is overwhelmingly outraged: Rockstar screwed up on this part of the “plot”. The dialogues between the two characters are so stupid and disgusting that they poison the completion of new tasks. I would like to shut them up, but the developers did not foresee the possibility of throwing off the nasty chatter. The only way not to listen to them is to drop the calls of the vile Persians at the end of the task.
Kenny aka KDJ and Moodymann rolled into one during the release “The Cayo Perico Heists” gave the task to bring him home slippers. In general, mentally, he is not far from his slippers in the new update. Tasks will be given to us by his girlfriend Sessanta, who acts as a telephone bridge between the player and Kenny. I’m sure users are looking for ways to beat Kenny on mission finals – he is such an irritable character.
Under-robbery
As you learned above, tasks (orders) will be given to you by Sessanta (renamed to Sossanta with a light hand). The order is divided into two preparatory missions and a final mission. For each completed order, you will receive up to $ 200,000. And here Rockstar is worth praising – what is only a train stop or raids on Fleeca Bank branches. There are six orders currently available to players, and two more will open at some point in time.
Where is the car, Lebowski?
Let’s go back to the auto business. The developers have revised the system for delivering cars from the update “Import Export” and now our auto repair shop receives cars that need to be modified according to the client’s specifications. After tuning, you will have the opportunity to carry out the delivery or entrust it to a hired driver. I do not know for what reasons, the driver always breaks the car, so when buying a car repair shop, do not waste money on drivers, it is better to deliver the car to the client yourself without damage.
How do you get tuning cars? It’s simple – Sessanta from time to time will send you SMS that a new car has arrived, and you could put it in proper form. In terms of payments, on average, up to $ 80,000GTA comes out from one delivered car. Good money and the opportunity to look at different sets of tuning cars.
The elusive dozen of rare export cars
In the update, it became possible to deliver cars according to the list to the docks, as in the good old GTA: Vice City for Sunshine Auto. In order to open access to the list of export vehicles, you need to fully complete any order that Sessanta issues.
The main difficulty of the new cars is the incredible difficulty of finding, but the community comes to the rescue, having prepared an interactive map of all 100 spawn points of rare cars from the list… Remember that the car does not appear in the same place twice. If you took it from one parking lot, then the other will not appear there until the next update of the list.
If you are lucky enough to be able to collect all 10 cars from the list within 24 hours, you will receive a rare reward – “Car Delivery Pro” and a cash bonus of 100,000 GTA $. But spawn points are regularly buggy and users collect an average of 7-9 cars from the list. We still do not know the mechanics and conditions for triggering these events. Each car delivered to the docks brings in $ 20,000GTA, and one more feature: 2 out of 10 cars can be found in the stream of cars, and the rest are parked at their points.
Changes in the “quality of life” by rock-star
It’s nice when the developers go to meet the community, and although with a scratch, they are introducing improvements designed to make life easier for the player in GTA Online.
The first improvement was the configurable number of radio stations in the radio wheel. It is activated through the interaction menu: M → Items → Favorite radio stations → uncheck radio stations that you do not like to listen to. But at the same time, the players were amazed by the order of the items in the “Items” section. Food and body armor are somewhere in the middle of the list. What was Rockstar thinking when they approved item sorting? These are the two main sections that players actively use during missions!
The second improvement is the addition of hydraulics, suspension and roof heights to the interaction menu for the Transport section. Now, without unnecessary movements, you can lower the car or open the roof, if such functionality is provided.
The third improvement, which may already be disabled, is the ability to call an aircraft via Transport. It was probably unplanned, and the developers rushed to implement it. The summoned planes or helicopters sometimes got stuck in textures and exploded, but in order to avoid this, it was possible to go out on a wide road. Let’s see if this useful function can be returned.
The fourth improvement is the ability to buy all food in one click! Now you just need to press one button and the maximum number of snacks will be transferred to your inventory.
Multiplayer changes:
- added 30 wheels for cars;
- added 10 liveries each for Bravado Banshee and Karin Kuruma cars;
- for new cars added a new type of tires with a weak grip (for drift);
- it became possible to remove bulletproof tires;
- added several masks to the “Monsters” section (look in the Vespucci mask store);
- added “Afro” hairstyle;
- fixed some crashes to the desktop;
- fixed some triggers that did not work correctly on the final heist of Cayo Perico;
- fixed issues related to frame rate drops in the interior of the Kosatka submarine;
- fixed problems leading to the loss of functionality in GTA Online;
- fixed errors of transactions in GTA Online;
- fixed an issue that caused players to fall under the map after joining a session.

In summary, I note that Rockstar Games has prepared a lot of exciting content, including special gifts for those waiting for the 20th anniversary of GTA 3. “Tuners in Los Santos” deserved a strong three – numerous problems, as well as the introduction of dubious characters Kenny and Sessanta. left an unpleasant impression. They could have made Mimi the central character of the update, but it seems that the developers are hooked on the “musical needle” from which they will not soon get off. Hence these silly motherfuckers, but it is better to step aside from this, enjoying new races in the iconic cars of the “Tuner” class or doing the auto business.
There is more game content, which pleases multiplayer players. Now I would like to hold out until the major winter update of GTA Online, but before that, meet the updated game GTA 5 Expanded & Enhanced, which will be released on November 11.
