
Howard suggested the Oblivion surprise release could be considered “a test run,” adding that “it worked out well.” He stopped short of saying the same approach will be used for The Elder Scrolls VI, but he did describe his preferred rollout: “I like to just announce stuff and release it,” he said. “My perfect version — and I’m not saying this is going to happen — is that it’s going to be a while and then, one day, the game will just appear.”
