Leadership transition at a major Sony studio.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a significant management shake-up at Sucker Punch Productions, the acclaimed developer behind Sly Cooper, inFAMOUS, Ghost of Tsushima, and the upcoming Ghost of Yōtei. Co-founder Brian Fleming is stepping down after three decades of service, passing the torch to Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley.
Effective January 1st, Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley—both long-time veterans who have spearheaded the studio’s creative and technical directions—will step into their new roles as co-presidents.
Connell previously served as a creative lead for the Ghost franchise, shaping its distinct aesthetic and narrative, while Bentley, as technical director, oversaw engineering and production, driving innovation in development tools and core game systems.
Nate Fox will maintain his position as creative director within the studio.
According to Sony, “Brian’s vision and guidance established a culture of creativity and collaboration, providing the foundation upon which Jason, Adrian, and the entire team will continue to build.”
Brian Fleming will remain with the company until April 2026 to facilitate a seamless transition. The industry veteran is currently undecided on his next chapter.
