Skater Tony Hawk Kicked Out of Skate Park During Video Shoot
The team managed to shoot several scenes before being interrupted.
Fans recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3. Renowned professional skateboarder Tony Hawk joined in on the celebration by deciding to record a short video. To do so, he visited a well-known public space where security guards confronted him with questions.
The 58-year-old professional skateboarder posted a video on social media and admitted that he was kicked out of Pershing Square in Los Angeles:
Fun fact: we got kicked out of Pershing Square while filming today.
Tony Hawk showed himself riding through real-world locations and then compared them with gameplay footage from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3. However, the skateboarder did not recreate any of the tricks from the game.
Fans suspect that the security guards simply did not recognize Tony Hawk, noting that this has happened to him before because people do not always believe that the real Tony Hawk is standing in front of them.
Games in the franchise remain popular to this day. Remastered collections such as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 and 3+4 were released a few years ago and received positive reviews from players on Steam.
