Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Fan Discovers Final Easter Egg After Four Years
The secret was connected to the user interface.
When creating Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, developer Respawn hid numerous easter eggs in the game. One secret turned out to be so well hidden that it remained unnoticed for nearly four years, but players have recently managed to reach it.
Developer Jordan DeVries previously challenged the community on social media, inviting players to find the last undiscovered easter egg in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Commenting on a post about an easter egg being found in Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005) after more than 20 years, Jordan wrote:
Will it really take another 17 years for someone to discover the easter egg in the game menu interface of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?
Several months later, the search came to an end. A user known as towerbunga published a recording of the easter egg, and the developer confirmed the find:
To activate the easter egg, players had to access the main character’s skill tree through meditation and then enter the Konami code. If done correctly, a large Oggdo Boggdo hologram appears:
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor received “mostly positive” reviews from players on Steam, holding a 71% rating after 87,000 reviews. Many players have raised complaints about the technical state of the sequel, as studio Respawn has failed to fix the game even years after release.
