CD Projekt Red Welcomes Key Kingdom Come Deliverance II Developer to The Witcher 4 Team
CD Projekt RED continues to hire diverse industry specialists.
Players recently noticed that another experienced specialist has joined CD Projekt RED. The Polish studio has hired one of the leading developers from Warhorse Studios, known for Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
Zbyněk Zelinka has taken on the position of senior gameplay designer at CD Projekt RED. He spent about 8 years at Warhorse, starting as a technical designer before becoming a senior technical designer. Last year, he was promoted to lead technical designer, a role he held until his transition to CDPR.

Players recalled that two other specialists from Warhorse previously joined CD Projekt RED: Karel Kolmann, who now works as a senior quest designer, and Zdeněk Glatz, who serves as a senior open world designer.
The Witcher 4 does not have a specific release date yet, but developers previously outlined a release window of 2028. The project is built using the modern Unreal Engine 5.
CD Projekt RED is also currently developing new content for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in collaboration with Fool’s Theory. A story expansion titled Songs of the Past is planned for release in 2027.
