Rae added, “I had superpowers, I had telekinesis, and I was… picking people up and throwing them against walls and stuff,” which, to be fair, does sound rather BioShock-esque. “It was great. But it never came out. And then there were so many NDAs, so I had no way of telling. I probably never even worked on it, who knows?”

As Rae notes, whatever form BioShock 4 ultimately takes hasn’t been officially revealed, so it’s impossible to know whether her recordings were for an abandoned iteration of the shooter or for an unrelated project. We’ll likely only know for sure when a new BioShock is formally announced.

Take-Two has reportedly said the next BioShock will “take the franchise to the next level,” and the publisher is “shifting some things around” to ensure it meets expectations.
