Pre-orders for the refreshed Retroid Pocket 6 are about to begin, so now is a good time to review the latest photos of the handheld and see how the design has been updated.
Retroid listened to user feedback about the Pocket 6’s layout and today unveiled an updated model. Buyers will be able to choose between two configurations: one with the left analog stick placed above the D-pad, and another with the stick positioned below the D-pad.
Retroid also moved the M1 and M2 buttons to the rear panel, and the speakers are no longer located in the center. The company plans to reopen pre-orders shortly.
Customers who preordered the earlier version of the console on the official website will receive an email from customer support in the coming days.
The Pocket 6 is expected to include a 5.5-inch AMOLED display (1920×1080, 120 Hz), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a 6000 mAh battery, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3 and Android 13.
