Players Encounter Numerous Issues in Battlefield RedSec — Developers Aware and Have Compiled a List

The Battlefield 6–based battle royale requires further refinement.

Players have run into a wide range of issues in the Battlefield RedSec battle royale, which launched on October 28. The developers are aware of the bugs and have already compiled a list. Below are some of the known problems:

  • After redeploying, players may become stuck on the map screen.
  • Rounds can fail to end even when all opponents have been eliminated.
  • Survival points may not be awarded, and attribute levels display incorrectly.
  • Eliminating an entire squad doesn’t always trigger an immediate mission failure.
  • The bomb defuse timer (Counter Wreckage) can pause if the carrier picks up the device.
  • Certain mission events lead to significant drops in performance.
  • The ring prediction is unreliable; the navigation path to the zone sometimes remains visible after the UI is closed, and the mini-map path line doesn’t scale with elevation.

Battlefield Studios says it will address these issues promptly and advises players to keep an eye out for updates.
