Path of Exile 2 Developers Detail Improvements to the ‘Vaal Fate’ League — Rewards to Become More Generous

A significant portion of the player base felt that their dedication was not being met with adequate rewards.

The developers of Path of Exile 2 have shared a brief development update outlining future adjustments for the “Fate of the Vaal” league. These changes will target crafting benches and several other core systems.

Grinding Gear Games has acknowledged complaints regarding the meager loot drops within the Temple, particularly for endgame players. To address this, they are implementing several buffs, including enhancing the modifiers that specific rooms contribute to the Temple’s overall difficulty and reward scaling.

Rewards for defeating the Architect are also slated for an upgrade, as players have frequently pointed out that the current spoils “do not justify the effort involved” in the encounter.

Furthermore, the team decided to revise the rewards for standard enemy encounters; players will now have the chance to obtain loot chests from non-boss mobs.

These improvements will be integrated into Path of Exile 2 with Patch 0.4.0c, which is currently scheduled for deployment on December 19th.
