Distributor Global Film has premiered an exclusive first look at the high-stakes sequel, “Greenland: Migration.” The film is slated to hit theaters on January 29.
Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin reprise their leading roles in this follow-up. The narrative once again centers on the Garrity family as they navigate the aftermath of a catastrophic comet strike. After emerging from their subterranean sanctuary in Greenland, the survivors must embark on a treacherous expedition across a decimated Europe to find a permanent home.
Filmmaker Ric Roman Waugh returns to the director’s chair for this installment. The original “Greenland,” released in 2020, proved to be a commercial success, grossing over $52 million worldwide against a production budget of $35 million.
