Dnsys says the Death Stranding edition will go on sale December 2. For context on price: Dnsys’ non-branded equivalent, the Z1 Dual Joint, is currently on Kickstarter at an early-backer rate of $949, though its intended retail price is $1,499. Expect the limited edition to command a similar — if not higher — price point. See the Kickstarter.

Exoskeletons aren’t cheap, but in the realm of Death Stranding collectibles they may be relatively affordable. Last year’s branded jackets sold for around $1,700, and a limited Anicorn Death Stranding watch reportedly fetched $2,340 before selling out. Given that track record, a $1,500 exoskeleton could be viewed as a reasonable buy for dedicated fans. That Anicorn release sold for $2,340, and many limited items have already sold out—underscoring steady demand.

Kojima reportedly tried promoting Death Stranding 2 with free branded tissues, but initially they failed to attract interest until he highlighted them on social media.
