Belarusian survival game storms Steam’s top charts — Misery receives Very Positive reviews

Genre fans ventured into the nuclear disaster zone in search of new adventures.

Misery recently launched on PC via Steam. It’s a cooperative survival game for 1–5 players.

The story unfolds in a nuclear disaster zone where every day is a struggle: you’ll scavenge through radioactive ruins, craft weapons, and build a bunker.

The zone brims with secrets and deadly traps — radiation is far from the only hazard. You’ll run into other survivors ready to kill for food and supplies, mutated creatures exhibiting unpredictable behaviors, and a range of anomalies that produce dangerous effects. Strange phenomena appear across the area; their origins and mechanics are unknown — some anomalies may aid you, while others can tear you apart. Anomalous pockets often hide artifacts: rare, valuable items warped by the anomaly and endowed with unusual properties.

Early reviews for Misery are listed as “Very Positive,” with an 86% rating. Some players have reported technical issues.

The project managed to reach Steam’s top sellers list and the “Popular New Releases” section.
