Both titles continue to be enjoyed by a wide audience and are likely to remain influential for years. That enduring appeal allows the studio to shift attention to future projects with confidence.

Vincke’s emphasis on growth and iteration is encouraging. Yet Larian’s own success raises the stakes: improving upon Baldur’s Gate 3 will be a tall order, and a hypothetical Divinity: Original Sin 3 would have considerable expectations to meet.
