Zenless Zone Zero 2.3 Quietly Adds Ray Tracing — Here’s How to Enable It
ZZZ has become more technologically advanced — but not everyone noticed.
A 2.3 update for Zenless Zone Zero was released recently. Earlier, testers mentioned that miHoYo (HoYoverse) was experimenting with ray tracing, yet players didn’t detect it in this build.
It turns out RTX support is present in ZZZ 2.3 after all — the feature is simply hidden. A user named Artictr demonstrated how to enable it.
In the game’s folder locate “ZenlessZoneZero.exe”, right-click the file and choose “Create shortcut”.
For the newly created shortcut, open Properties and add -use-d3d12 to the “Target” field (leave a space after .exe” and do not include quotation marks).
