World of Trucks: Resuming Events

Earlier this year, we announced a temporary hiatus on our World of Trucks events. We are well aware of how deeply these gatherings resonate with the #BestCommunityEver, and we know many of you have eagerly awaited their return. Today, we are thrilled to announce that World of Trucks events are officially making a comeback in the classic, beloved format you know and love, even as our broader development work moves forward.

Get ready to unite for a fresh lineup of campaigns in the coming months. Kicking things off will be the “Cruising South Dakota” event, closely followed by “Cruising Iceland,” alongside our traditional Halloween and Holiday festivities later in the year. Stay tuned—we will publish comprehensive details ahead of each launch.

Meanwhile, our developers remain hard at work upgrading the foundational architecture and infrastructure powering these events. Our ultimate objective is to weave much more of the World of Trucks experience right into the fabric of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. This integration encompasses features we’ve teased previously, such as claiming rewards, tracking achievements, monitoring live event statistics, and celebrating community milestones directly inside your favorite game. Naturally, this also involves critical backend enhancements designed to future-proof the entire World of Trucks ecosystem.
