Return to Brackenreach Event

This Halloween, prepare to pierce the veil in our Return to Brackenreach World of Trucks event! The clandestine and treacherous byways of Brackenreach have reopened for truckers in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, welcoming both seasoned veterans and newcomers alike. Adventure and arcane rewards await, so let’s hit the road!

This season, we are calling upon our beloved #BestCommunityEver to unite for a monumental shared milestone: 1,300,000 completed deliveries. It is an ambitious trial, but after witnessing the incredible dedication our community displayed last Halloween, we know no goal is beyond your reach!

As autumn thins the boundary between worlds, the path to Brackenreach materializes once more. The three guardian sisters—mistresses of fire, earth, and air—remember the truckers who came to their aid last year, and their supernatural summons echoes across the miles. The eerie marsh fog still conceals the wandering wisps, the spectral ship waits at the docks for tides commanded by ancient spells, and the village jack-o’-lanterns offer knowing grins as you rumble past. In deep gratitude, each sister has curated a singular token, safeguarded until the portal roads unlocked. Assist the witches and villagers once more by transporting seasonal cargo through the gateways and up the winding ascents to Castle Brackenhelm. Brackenreach remembers your deeds. Will you answer the call?

Your personal objective? Complete 15 Halloween deliveries across any operational territory, including precisely 3 bound for and 3 originating from Castle Brackenhelm. Consult the comprehensive rules below for further details.

Alongside your expeditions to and from Brackenreach, you will help imbue cities across the mainland with festive cheer by distributing seasonal supplies between urban hubs. Enchanted cargo will also traverse the portals in reverse, carrying a lingering trace of Brackenreach into the everyday world—perhaps a parting gesture of thanks from the coven.

Our #ReturnToBrackenreach event brings the atmospheric enchantment of the realm straight to your desktop. We hope this eerie yet lively ambiance elevates every voyage you take beyond the veil!

We are also hosting an exclusive developer livestream to discuss the design behind the event, share behind-the-scenes insights, and celebrate Halloween in a relaxed atmosphere while contributing directly to the community milestone. Join us on Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook on Monday, October 19, starting at 6 PM CEST as we venture deep into Brackenreach!

Return to Brackenreach Rules:

Utilizing External Contracts via a World of Trucks-linked profile in Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, or a combination of both, the community goal is to amass a collective total of 1,300,000 deliveries of Halloween freight to or from any city, culminating at the mysterious domain of Brackenreach, with deliveries specifically targeting Castle Brackenhelm.

There are 4 distinct types of cargo featured in this event:

1. Halloween Treats
2. Halloween Costumes
3. Halloween Herbs & Spices
4. Halloween Crafts

Your personal objective is to finish 15 Halloween deliveries across any map territory, explicitly requiring 3 deliveries to Castle Brackenhelm and 3 deliveries originating from it, playable in ETS2, ATS, or both titles combined.

Your bonus objective is to locate and discover the Witches’ House, masterfully concealed deep within Brackenreach, simply by driving directly to its location.

Rewards

• Personal Reward: Truckers who successfully complete the requisite 15+ Halloween deliveries will unlock an exclusive World of Trucks Achievement alongside a mystical Wisp Lantern cabin accessory, delivered straight to your Steam Inventory.

• Community Reward: Once the overarching community target of 1,300,000 Halloween deliveries is reached—provided you have fulfilled your personal quota—you will be awarded the fabled Key to Brackenreach hanging cabin ornament as a Steam Inventory item.

• Discovery Reward: Explorers who successfully uncover the hidden Witch’s House within Brackenreach will receive the arcane Ember Grimoire cabin item as a Steam Inventory item, accompanied by last year’s fan-favorite Spooky Horn vehicle accessory.

Navigating to Brackenreach:

A dimensional portal leading to Brackenreach will manifest dynamically the moment you accept event cargo bound for Castle Brackenhelm. Spot it on your navigation map via its distinct spiral icon, then plot your course. Keep your eyes peeled for shimmering lights and swirling autumn leaves!

Departing Brackenreach while carrying active cargo will transport you directly to its assigned destination; leaving empty-handed will safely route you to a random city to pick up your next job.

Please Note: To qualify for any community-tier rewards, you must fulfill your personal goal within Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, or across both platforms. Each unlocked reward is distributed as a Steam Inventory item compatible with both games. Upon completion, make sure to claim your spoils directly from the Events tab on your World of Trucks profile.

The event officially concludes on Sunday, November 1st at 23:59 UTC.
