EA accused of pandering to the Call of Duty audience.
The developers of Battlefield 6 reverted changes from the latest patch following widespread backlash.
On October 16 the shooter received update 1.0.1.6, which reduced the number of tickets in Conquest mode on all maps. Players reacted negatively, taking to social media to criticize the team and accuse them of trying to cater to Call of Duty fans, who are not used to longer matches.
We’ve heard your feedback about the recent reduction to starting tickets in Conquest and have restored ticket counts on all maps to their original values: 1000 tickets and 45-minute rounds. Please note that on larger maps, such as “Miraka Valley” and “Firestorm,” this may lengthen match durations. We will continue to monitor player feedback and gameplay data to maintain appropriate pacing and overall match flow.
