Voxel Remake of Classic Shooter Duke Nukem 3D Released
A modder has breathed new life into a well-known shooter.
Recently, an enthusiast going by the name Cheello released a distinct mod-remake titled Voxel Duke Nukem 3D. He replaced the original 2D sprites of the classic shooter with fully three-dimensional voxel models.
Throughout the project he retained the game’s original aesthetic, so this voxelized edition of Duke Nukem 3D still feels authentic. Cheello has reworked the three original episodes with voxel assets that evoke a Duke atmosphere unlike anything seen before.
