It is a bit of a bittersweet week for our team; while we have spent the last few days diving deep into highly anticipated titles like Saros and the Lord of Hatred expansion for Diablo IV, we realize you have to wait just a little longer to experience them yourselves. We aren’t trying to brag, but we can confirm that both are stellar experiences. If you are looking for something you can jump into immediately, however, our review of Tides of Tomorrow is live and ready for your perusal.

In the meantime, there is plenty to occupy your gaming schedule this weekend. Here are the top stories and recommendations from across the site this week:

Vampire Crawlers

By Brian Shea

As an avid fan of Vampire Survivors, I was intrigued when Poncle pivoted toward a dungeon-crawling deckbuilder. Vampire Crawlers retains the familiar weaponry, iconic characters, and chaotic spirit of the original but reimagines the loop entirely. Navigating these dungeons from a first-person perspective while hoarding loot and crafting the perfect deck feels incredibly fresh. While I’m still putting it through its paces for a final verdict, my early sessions have been nothing short of addictive.

Sayonara Wild Hearts & Lorelei and the Laser Eyes

By Kyle Hilliard

Annapurna recently announced that both Sayonara Wild Hearts and Lorelei and the Laser Eyes are now available on the Switch 2. I have reviewed both, and they offer distinct, unforgettable experiences. Sayonara Wild Hearts remains an essential interactive music video—if you enjoy its synth-pop aesthetic, be sure to check out its version of “Clair de lune.”

However, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes stands out as one of the most rewarding puzzle games I’ve played in years. What began as a casual “check-in” for a podcast quickly turned into a complete playthrough. It is a moody, cerebral exploration of the creative process that I cannot recommend highly enough if you missed it back in 2024.

Diablo IV: Prepare for Sanctuary

By Marcus Stewart

With the launch of Lord of Hatred right around the corner, this weekend is the perfect time to dust off your gear and return to Sanctuary. Whether you are catching up on the base campaign or simply practicing your rotations to prepare for the new expansion, Diablo IV remains a premier action-RPG experience. If you’re curious about what the expansion adds, check out my full review linked above.

Titanium Court

By Kyle Hilliard

I’ve long argued that Luca Redwood’s You Must Build A Boat is the gold standard for mobile gaming. I’ve been hunting for a title that replicates that perfect harmony of match-three mechanics and satisfying RPG progression—and Titanium Court might be exactly what I’ve been looking for.

It blends clever puzzle gameplay with base defense, and the narrative framing is genuinely charming. It’s a great palette cleanser for any gaming library. While you’re at it, don’t forget to look up Redwood’s other gem, Photographs—a short, poignant puzzle game that has stuck with me for years.
