Detailed aircraft models such as the F-22A Raptor and Rafale M, alongside a proprietary multi-layered cloud technology, are featured in a new “The Art of Aircraft” video for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve.

The developers of Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve have released a new video titled “The Art of Aircraft” focusing on aircraft details. Project Aces showcased their exterior appearance and interiors, paying special attention to the cockpits.

The video showcases the F-22A Raptor, Gripen E, MiG-21bis, Rafale M, Eurofighter Typhoon, Mirage 2000-5, and other aircraft.

The developers paid separate attention to the environment. Despite using Unreal Engine 5, the team created its own engine to generate multi-layered clouds. This made the sky more realistic and diverse, and also enhanced the contrast between it and the ground.

In the game, the Central Usean Federation will enter into a conflict with the Republic of Sotoa. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve will be released on October 2 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
