Robert Pattinson and Nicholas Hoult to Compete for James Bond Role
Hollywood outlets have named new contenders for the role of Agent 007, adding to the speculation over who will succeed Daniel Craig.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Pattinson and Nicholas Hoult have screen-tested for the role of James Bond. Both actors are among the casting finalists, alongside Callum Turner, Jack Lowden, and Josh O’Connor, whose names have already appeared in press reports.
Showbiz411 recently claimed that Turner had already landed the role of Agent 007. However, that report remains unconfirmed. Neither major Hollywood outlets nor Amazon MGM have indicated that casting is complete.

Denis Villeneuve will direct the next Bond film, with Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight writing the screenplay. David Heyman and Amy Pascal are producing the film. Pascal previously said the next actor to play Agent 007 would be announced by the end of 2026.
