Vampire Survivors was a huge hit, and the developers are expanding that world. Here’s a look at Vampire Crawlers.
Poncle has unveiled a full-fledged spinoff set in the same absurd universe. The studio describes Vampire Crawlers as a new take — a “card-based dungeon crawler.” Players pick one of the Crawlers (heroes from Vampire Survivors with unique abilities), delve into dungeons, build a deck, upgrade cards and engage in fast-paced battles.
Poncle’s founder Luca said:
You can play deliberately and tactically or fling cards down at full speed — the game still produces sensible outcomes, even when the screen is utter chaos.
The studio has kept the spirit of the original intact: familiar treasure chests, weapon evolutions, rewards after each run, and the signature humor and soundtrack. Card customization can radically shift how you play — from methodical control to lightning-fast combo assaults.
Vampire Crawlers is scheduled for release in 2026 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass Premium and Ultimate at launch.
