Unusual Fighting Game Receives Positive Reviews and Free Release on Steam
Players have been given the opportunity to add Crystal Crisis to their collections.
In September, studio Nicalis launched a new promotional campaign on PC via Steam. The developers decided to offer players a free copy of Crystal Crisis for their collections.
This is an unusual fighting game where battles take the form of puzzle mechanics. Players compete in color matching by combining multicolored crystals to defeat opponents. The developers included several game modes, including online play:
Hone your crystal-crushing skills in multiple single-player game modes, including Arcade, Survival, Tag Team, and Tutorial. There is also a multi-path Story mode to explore.
Crystal Crisis features a couple of dozen characters from various projects, including Quote and Curly Brace from Cave Story, Isaac from The Binding of Isaac, Astro Boy and Black Jack from Tezuka Productions, and Umihara Kawase.

The Crystal Crisis page on Steam is available via this link. The giveaway will run until September 22. To claim a copy of the game, it is enough to click the “Add to Account” button; downloading it immediately is not required to keep it in your library. Trading cards are available for the game, but they cannot be dropped from a free copy.
