Other major platforms and services — including YouTube, X and TikTok — are listed as well.
The streaming platform Twitch has been officially added to the list of social media services on which anyone under 16 will be banned from registering and holding accounts starting December 10, 2025.
From December 10, Twitch will block new account registrations by users under 16 and will begin deactivating existing accounts that belong to minors.
The announcement comes less than three weeks before the Social Media Minimum Age legislation takes effect.
Alongside Twitch, the list names Kick, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Threads and several other widely used social platforms.
The restriction is described as “dynamic”: services may be added to or removed from the list as circumstances require.
