Trailer released for game based on viral AI clip about a stylish RPG — Shores of Vaelithar appears on Steam
A popular AI concept has captured the attention of more than just everyday gamers.
A concept video for a “role-playing” game created with AI recently went viral online. It impressed so many viewers that calls began to emerge to develop a game in a similar style.
In November, OMW Game Studio released a pre-alpha teaser for a project called Shores of Vaelithar, whose visuals strongly echo that concept.
The developer states the studio did not use AI to generate assets, and that the trailer is composed of in-game footage:
Gameplay is one of the cornerstones of our work, especially the combat system. Our primary objective is to deliver a smooth, engaging experience that rewards player skill. Right now we’re assembling a vertical slice of gameplay so we can release a combat demo by the end of the year.
You can find the Shores of Vaelithar page on Steam via this link.
