Touching Song from Cyberpunk 2077 and “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” Goes Gold
Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 and the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners drove the soundtrack’s popularity with countless repeat listens.
The song “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” by British vocalist Rosa Walton — featured in Cyberpunk 2077 — has been awarded Gold certification by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). The track appeared in the game at its 2020 launch, but only achieved true cult status two years later following the release of the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
The piece, which underscores the poignant moments between David Martinez and Lucy, effectively became an unofficial anthem for their relationship. After the anime debuted, listeners flooded streaming services — the song climbed the charts on Spotify, TikTok, and YouTube, and many fans admitted returning to it to “experience the finale again.”
The track currently boasts more than 352 million streams on Spotify, 71 million views on the Netflix channel’s video, and 17 million views on the Cyberpunk 2077 channel. Those figures exclude other platforms, fan-made edits, and the dozens of unofficial remixes that keep the song in circulation.
