“This Is Why I Play on PC”: Modder Turns Red Dead Redemption 2 into Mortal Kombat with Fatalities and Shows the Result

Even in the unmodified game the protagonist could get into a proper brawl — and the combat system here has been pushed to an entirely new level.

Streamer-moderator Blurbs keeps running creative experiments across different titles. Recently he returned to Red Dead Redemption 2 and dramatically remade parts of the game.

He managed to “fully recreate” Mortal Kombat inside RDR2: he shared a video showing several of the matches.

Blurbs didn’t just stage a flashy Mortal Kombat–style fistfight — he also implemented fatalities, so defeated opponents can be finished off in brutal fashion.

RDR2 fans praised the mod — some even said they’re considering a switch from consoles to PC:
