The Simpsons Hit & Run Fan Has Been Pushing a Remake Petition for 10 Years
Players would like to see the project made available on modern platforms.
There is a dedicated fan community around the “GTA-style Simpsons” game. Among the devotees of The Simpsons: Hit & Run are notably active contributors, such as Hassaan18.
Recently he once again brought attention to his petition, which he launched roughly ten years ago:
“You’ll probably say that 30,000 over nine years isn’t much, but I think that’s a very good figure, especially considering that a huge number of people may not even be aware this petition exists.”
A new Simpsons film is scheduled for release in 2027, and fans are hopeful this could be accompanied by a gaming announcement — either a full new title or a remake of The Simpsons Hit & Run.
